Petition Drive to Expand Tax District
What we hope to accomplish
Last July, Satanta District Hospital started hosting community conversations on the feasibility of expanding ownership and tax support in the county. Dudley Township and a small sliver of Haskell Township (see map) currently provide all the tax support, even though many throughout the county utilize our hospital, clinics, long-term care, pharmacy, public health, and senior living facility.
Today we are petitioning the remaining portion of Haskell Township to share in ownership and support for the hospital because we must work together if we want Haskell County to thrive. Please fill out the below form for more information.
